We’ve certainly had a week with our loss of our phone system for 2 days. I applaud my staff for how we adapted and tried to reach out to those calling us as much as we could, even if it meant letting you know Simple Simon’s was also down😂 We are all very compassionate about the care of your pets. This is our team along with Dr. Peace with Meadowlark Veterinary Specialists performing upper GI endoscopy at Basehor Vet Clinic. Our patient, who is owned by our amazing veterinary assistant Cassie, is actually a cadaver dog who gets deployed all over the US to search for victims.

Oh my goodness is this Charlie???? I met him and his mom when they came thru our ER at MVES, his mom was so worried and very kind and patient when I helped her out during check in
❤️A very compassionate Team and group of doctors, indeed…..my little family of Bostons and I love all of you guys…..more times than I can even count, you’ve been there to see me through a few scary times…..even if it’s talking me through something on a phone call….And, your Dr. Peace is a Godsend too…..She’s even been there to guide us ALL through some unchartered territory with Murri……Thank you for giving so much to this community.❤️🐾

We tried so damn hard. We are all just crushed. Milo learned a lot of love in the last week of his life. He learned love by Cassidy Woodard who took him home and wanted to keep him forever; he learned love from Kandi Crumet and Melissa Hoagland who carried him in a fashioned “baby byorn” that Hollywood pets could only dream of. He learned from an experienced medical staff of doctors, technicians, and assistants that did everything we could to make him live. He fought hard, and we fought for him. His short life will never be forgotten.

He was so loved. God sent him to us when we needed that love as a bittersweet reminder of why we work in vet med. I'm gonna miss my little buddy.
